Brtish Cannon 18th Century

This is a replica of an 18th Century English Naval cannon, this minature replica is a perfet size for taking pride of place on a shelf display. Constructed from wood and metal, this is a well made piece with excellent and realistic detailing. Naval cannons were set up on several gun decks and the broadsides resulting from all the guns on one side of a ship firing in unison were legendary. The carriages had an extensive rope system to stop recoiling cannon and get it back in firing position.
