Detail Description The blade made of 420s stainless, hardened steel is provided with a fine gold etching. The obbeying bar and the metal parts of the handle have decorative, traditional ornamentations. The handle consists of hardwood with blatant jewelry parts. The blade is screwed together at the end of the handle. Highlander Claymore and Claymore dagger. This way of sword appeared for the first time at 1500 in the history of the weapon development. The national museum of Edinburgh has one of the largest collections of these swords. The Gaelic name of Claymore is meant what 'for Claidheamh mor' as much as big sword. What as much as little sword means had this its predecessor in form of a one hand sword with names 'Claidheamh beg' toward the end of the Middle Ages.

The history of the immortal beings commences with this sword. The original was wielded by the young Connor MacLeod in the "fatal" battle against Kurgan the Terrible and, later, to chisel the inscription on the tomb of his beloved Heather. The hexagonal section steel blade has the edges narrowing suddenly toward the point. The quillons and the pommel are in cast metal, the first ornated with weird engravings and the name "macleod". The handgrip is covered in brown velvet and wrapped with a metal string.
