Tastefully exact in its traditional plain wood hand crafted black lacquered saya(scabbard) with the correct sageo cord binding encircling the kurikata scabbard mounts- the Tsuka hilt is tightly bound over imitation same rayskin with hilt ornaments en-suite to the openwork Tsuba swordguard- depicting kneeling and mounted armoured Samurai Warrios - the hilt is deliberately extended by 3cm to accomodate the longer European grip requirement and is tighty bound in silk and cotton black binding.

The 70cm gently curved live 440 stainless steel blade has a unique full length HI-line groove running down both sides of the blade- also prominently featured is the Hamon hardened edge in classic Choji pattern.
